Terms of Service
The terms for using the Bookmark Organizer Chrome extension and the bookmarkmanager.app website and account.
Last updated: 2026-10-30
These terms apply to the Bookmark Organizer Chrome extension, the website bookmarkmanager.app and its API server (together, "the service"). By installing the extension, creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What the service does
Bookmark Organizer helps you manage Chrome bookmarks and tabs: it suggests folders when you save a page, proposes organize plans for messy folders, groups open tabs by topic, archives tabs when you ask, and answers plain-language requests through an agent. Some of this relies on AI models, described in the Privacy Policy.
Your bookmarks stay yours
Your bookmarks, tabs and archives belong to you. The extension acts on them only through actions you take: picking a folder, applying a plan you reviewed, pressing a grouping or regroup button, or asking the agent. Suggestions and plans produced by AI models can be wrong, so review them before you apply them. Chrome sync carries changes to your other devices, so we recommend exporting a backup of your bookmarks (Chrome's bookmark manager, Export bookmarks) before a large cleanup.
Accounts
You need an account only for features that say so. Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us at support@bookmarkmanager.app if you think someone else has used your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age for online services where you live, to create an account.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to attack or overload our servers, to get around rate limits or security measures, to access other people's accounts or data, or to resell or repackage the API for others.
Price and changes
The service is currently offered free of charge. We may add paid features in the future; if we do, we will describe them before you are asked to pay, and these terms will be updated. We may also change, pause or stop features, and we will try to give notice of significant changes on this site.
Third-party services
The service depends on Google Chrome, Cloudflare and an AI model provider. Their availability is outside our control. Product names such as Chrome, OneTab and Raindrop.io are trademarks of their owners and are mentioned only to describe compatibility or comparisons.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error free or suitable for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost bookmarks or data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending use
You can stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the extension and deleting your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
